TEDxToronto & Shift Collab Present "Rising Together"

Rising Together

We're excited to share that we’ve partnered with TEDxToronto to deliver a massive interactive exhibit throughout their annual event on October 26, 2019.

TEDxToronto is one of the premier TEDx events in the world. Not only is it among the largest in terms of attendees, but the execution of the event is also world-class and invites members from all spaces in our city to come together to celebrate the ideas that make us who we are.

We were introduced to the TEDxToronto community when Jordan had the opportunity to speak in 2015. Since we've built many friendships through the annual event and related community organizations. Coming full-circle, we’re excited to be able to support this tremendous organization and participate in this year’s event.

This year, the theme for the event is rise.

Helping others rise is a big part of our work and passion. Whether we’re working with individuals in the therapy room or teams in a boardroom, the process of empowering people through exploring and improving their mental wellness is an ascendant journey.

That’s why we’re not just pleased to be a sponsor, but also to lead an interactive activation through the venue that we have named Rising Together.

In effect, it’s our boldest pop-up exhibit yet.

If you’re not familiar with these interactive exhibits, we combine provoking questions, anonymous texting, and huge projections. The combination of those three invite people to shed their masks, share something they might not otherwise, and see that they’re not alone.

And as a friend of ours and TEDxToronto alumni, Drew Dudley, once told us: “The most powerful thing you can ever do for anyone is to help them see that they’re not alone.”

And that’s exactly what we hope to contribute.
