Meet Valerie

Valerie is here to help you navigate the messy, exciting, and sometimes overwhelming journey of adulthood. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, battling perfectionism, or trying to balance career/academic stress with family and intimate relationships, Valerie offers a safe, non-judgmental space to explore and untangle it all. She gets it—being a Gen Z or millennial in today’s world comes with a lot of pressure and expectations, and you don’t have to do it alone.

Valerie’s approach is warm, down-to-earth, and focused on you. Together, you’ll explore what’s holding you back, discover your inner strengths, and take small but meaningful steps toward building a life you feel proud of. With a trauma-informed, feminist, and anti-racist lens, Valerie ensures her practice is inclusive, empowering, and culturally sensitive.

What sets Valerie apart is her belief that your mental health and financial health go hand-in-hand. She doesn’t shy away from helping clients tackle real-world challenges like financial stress or boundary-setting in work and relationships. Whether it’s breaking free from people-pleasing habits, confronting family pressures, or learning to manage and embrace ADHD and its unique challenges, Valerie is here to support you every step of the way.

When Valerie’s not in the therapy room, you can find her playing softball, staying active at the gym, or indulging in her favourite shows like Emily in Paris and Bridgerton. She’s a foodie with a love for Indian cuisine, a fun night out with loved ones, and planning her next big travel adventure. Her adventurous, relatable vibe adds a refreshing energy to every session—because therapy doesn’t have to feel like a chore. It’s a space for growth, healing, and sometimes even a little joy.

If you’re ready to rediscover your confidence and tackle life’s challenges head-on, Valerie is here to help. Let’s take that first step together.

On a hot summer's day, what kind of bevy are you reaching for?
An iced lavender matcha or a raspberry lemonade.
If you could time travel to any moment in history, when and where would you go?
The early 2000’s - back to a time when we used to rent Blockbuster movies, listen to music on a portable CD player and text on our flip phones.
If you could change professions for one day, what would you choose?
I’d be a Commercial Dancer for music videos, TV shows, movies, and/or commercials.
