Yushu is here to support you with sexuality, gender identity, trauma, and cross-cultural challenges.
Yushu supports young adults and adults navigate aspects of their sexuality, gender identity, trauma, and cross-cultural challenges. As an Asian, non-binary, lesbian individual with lived immigration experience, Yushu has a profound understanding of the anxieties, traumas, and sense of in-betweenness that individuals may encounter. Yushu believes you are unique, and they are privileged to support you on your therapy journey. Being in session with Yushu guarantees a non-judgmental and empowering environment where your identity is affirmed and your trauma is held with compassion. Yushu therapy approaches are firmly rooted in intersectional, queer feminist, strength-based, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed lens.
Outside of sessions, you can find Yushu at various local queer events, especially the drag venues! Yushu also loves to connect folks to other queer people, and they actively engage in community organizing. When they’re looking to unwind, you can find them cooking.
