Sydney is a registered social worker. She’s here to help you process complex emotions during life transitions, support you through grief and loss, and navigate family dynamics. Sydney is passionate about providing a safe, anti-oppressive, and affirming space for you to learn coping skills and improve your day-to-day life.
Sydney has worked with adult children and family members of loved ones who were recently diagnosed with a complex illness. She can help you navigate the healthcare system, create a care plan, and come to terms with your loved one’s diagnosis. Sydney has also practiced in an acute care hospital where she supported families and connected them to community resources after the loss of a loved one.
Sydney uses strength-based techniques to help you build resilience and practice self-care during difficult times. Sydney provides a non-judgmental space for self-growth and discovery. Sydney has the ability to understand complex emotions and offers the empathic support needed to develop a positive therapeutic relationship.
