Sarah is committed to supporting parents and soon-to-be parents as they navigate the journey of pregnancy and postpartum with grace and resilience. She can support you with challenges like postpartum depression, anxiety, the healing process after difficult birth experiences, feelings of isolation, infertility, and adjusting to the demands of parenthood. Drawing from her personal experiences as a mother who has overcome postpartum challenges, Sarah fully understands the importance of maternal mental health support. She is ready to guide you through the complexities of parenthood and the journey leading up to it.
With an empathetic approach, Sarah enters each session with you, ready to collaborate and create a therapeutic relationship that sets you up for success. Her approach is marked by personalization, tailored to individuals facing emotional hurdles during pregnancy and postpartum. Drawing from a diverse range of effective psychotherapeutic techniques, she strives to empower you on your journey to well-being. Sessions with her will include humour, conversations, activities, thought-provoking questions, and some (fun) homework. Babies are welcome to join! Sarah also holds certification in Trauma Therapy and earned an MBA, where she worked in corporate settings advocating for parents in the workplace.
Sarah loves being in nature with her children and husband. Her favourite place is the beach; she's convinced that it’s because she is a Scorpio (if you know, you know!). She is vegetarian and really loves animals. Sarah also likes listening to podcasts about maternal and paternal mental health.
