Mary is here to support you with trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress.
Life has a way of being an ebb and flow and then other times with crashing waves. Keeping up with all of life’s demands can be overwhelming and a real test on a person’s well-being. There is so much to consider and balance; career, finances, family, social life, relationships, past traumas, school, the list is just endless it seems. Mary can offer an approachable, compassionate, and empathetic space to sort through these concerns. Mary endeavors to assist you in finding your way back when life or circumstance has taken you off course. She offers support and safety so that healing can be fostered.
Mary’s approach to counselling is rooted in grace and a genuine willingness to journey alongside individuals through their experiences. She was drawn to this field through lived experience and she believes everyone deserves to feel well, and to feel whole. Mary draws on theoretical, practical, and lived experience to help you navigate your way toward better mental health in a way that fits with your values and cultural identity. She uses a trauma- informed approach, with the intention of creating a supportive space where you feel safe sharing your challenges. Mary incorporates an eclectic array of evidence-based techniques to meet you where your needs are at.
In her off time Mary can be found enjoying her family and friends in her pool or enjoying a cappuccino on the deck reading a book. Mary loves to sing and entertain and can be often found snuggling with one of her fur-babies.
