Meet Jessica

Jessica helps highly anxious teens and young adults identify patterns of overthinking. Her goal is to help them confidently express their thoughts and opinions while overcoming cycles of avoidance. Jessica is also passionate about supporting individuals who face challenges in their relationships, whether it’s with partners, family members, or friends. By providing personalized support and guidance, Jessica empowers her clients to take charge of their lives and achieve their goals, both in and outside of therapy.

While in session with Jessica, you can expect a compassionate and collaborative environment. Jessica understands that no one knows you better than you know yourself and is always happy to restructure sessions to ensure your therapy journey is meeting your needs. Jessica’s approach to session is to engage in an open conversation that is solution-focused and motivating. Jessica is a lifelong learner and stays up-to-date with best practices through continuing education.

When she’s not in the therapy [zoom] room, Jessica likes to recharge by diving into a good book or challenging herself with a puzzle. She is mindful of the small things in life that can spark joy, and for her, this includes: being a plant mama, enjoying that first sip of coffee and spending time with her dog. Jessica is always open to an adventure and trying new things, so if you have a go-to recipe, campground suggestion or favourite travel destination, she wants to hear about it!

Q&A

What is your favourite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon?
During the summer you can catch me outside in my hammock, iced coffee in one hand and a good book in the other. I like to take time on Sundays to recharge and reconnect with myself!
If you could change professions for one day, what would you choose?
A wildlife photographer! Combining travel and creativity sounds like a dream.
Are you a paw-rent? Tell us about your pet!
Miller is a Bernedoodle, who even at the age of two is still a puppy at heart! He is full of personality and is always willing to join me on adventures and is equally as happy to snuggle up. One of my favourite perks of working from home is having him as my “co-worker”
