Jane is here to support you with intense emotions, trauma, and challenging relationships.

Right for you if:

You have this intuitive feeling that something is holding you back.

You feel alone, even when you are with others.

You want to make active choices that balance your wants and needs with others’.

You want to embrace all of your experiences, learning from them with compassion and dignity.

Difficulty trusting others, disruptive sleep patterns, and dealing with challenging emotions might only be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what you experience on a day-to-day basis. Most often, these challenges, and others, result from a traumatic event or traumatic relationship that you’ve experienced. This is where Jane comes in, and her goal for you is simple: work together to understand your experiences better and begin healing.

Jane is an intentional listener who recognizes you might enter sessions with unclear thoughts, heightened emotions and overwhelm–this is common! Jane will meet you where you’re at and start from the very beginning each time. In this time together, Jane’s goal is to use an emotion-focused, relational approach to support you in managing your experiences and all that brings you to therapy.

In addition to the satisfaction of helping others through the therapeutic process, Jane enjoys cycling, travel, and winter sports. Photography, cooking and board games with family and friends are also important pastimes for Jane (who is determined to organize her photos one day soon!).

Q&A

What song do you have on repeat right now?
Into Dust, by Mazzy Star
What do you do to take care of your own mental health?
I have enjoyed exploring the workings of the conscious mind, mainly by listening to podcasts, and mediating. This has led to me adapting my meditation practice, and attempting to be more consistent with that practice. My practice is 10 minutes per day, 5-6 days per week, and it is the first thing I look forward to each morning.
If you could change professions for one day, what would you choose?
I like to cut hair, and I would merge therapy and hair styling. You could call this ‘Hairapy’.
