You find yourself struggling with self-esteem, confidence, and your overall sense of self, which impacts your ability to live fully as your authentic self.
Habibi is a supportive therapist who creates a safe space for you to explore intimate aspects of your identity and relationships. As an Arabic and Latino member of the LGBTQ+ community, he brings his lived experiences into the sessions, allowing you to feel truly seen, heard, and understood by someone who shares your journey. Habibi’s own path to understanding his sense of self enables him to meet you where you’re at in your healing journey. With extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and those from intersectional and marginalized backgrounds, he specializes in helping clients navigate identity-based issues like confidence, self-esteem, sense of self, and feeling comfortable living life as your full authentic self!
In couples therapy, Habibi’s approach goes beyond just resolving conflict. He helps you and your partner(s) discover new depths of intimacy, establish healthy patterns of communication, and build a sense of safety in your relationship. Whether you’re in a monogamous, polyamorous, or open relationship, Habibi tailors his guidance to fit the unique dynamics of your relationship style, helping you understand each other more deeply and grow together.
When working with you individually, Habibi provides a compassionate space to explore various aspects of identity, such as sexuality, gender, culture, ethnicity, and relationship dynamics. He starts by looking at your childhood, key relationships, coping skills, and life experiences to create a snapshot of your journey so far. From there, he collaborates with you to set goals and create a treatment plan that feels right for you, working at a pace you’re comfortable with. Sometimes, he may even assign homework to help you practice using new tools and enhance your skillset outside of sessions. Habibi’s ultimate aim is to support you in making sense of everyday stressors and developing effective coping skills, empowering you to eventually graduate from therapy with confidence. He fully believes in your capacity for self-determination and growth.
Outside of therapy, Habibi can often be found soaking up the sun beachside, one of the perks of living in Florida! He’s also an avid bookworm who loves getting lost in a good novel and might even share a book recommendation or two during your sessions. For Habibi, it’s all about finding joy in the little things, and he encourages you to do the same, whether that’s through reading, basking in the sun, or discovering new hobbies. He believes incorporating joy into your daily life can be a powerful addition to your healing and self-care journey.
