Meet Anna

Anna is a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping clients explore and heal from relational trauma. Whether it manifests as anxiety, depression, negative self-talk, emotional overwhelm, or physical symptoms, Anna provides a safe, non-judgmental space for growth and healing. Having personally experienced the impacts of family trauma, including the complexities of having a parent who is a trauma survivor, she deeply understands the journey of letting go of past injuries and achieving mental health goals.

In couples therapy, Anna focuses on fostering emotional connection and safety between partners. She helps clients break free from negative patterns, understand their emotional needs and reactions, and build stronger, more loving relationships. Whether in a monogamous, polyamorous, or open relationship, Anna supports her clients in creating a foundation of clear and caring communication. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, she values a sex-positive and inclusive approach.

Anna’s therapeutic style is rooted in anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based principles. Her down-to-earth and curious nature helps clients process difficult emotions with support and self-compassion. She blends insight, problem-solving, and occasional humour to empower her clients to move forward with confidence.

Outside of therapy, Anna is usually busy looking after her spunky, strong-willed daughter and anxiously figuring out how to be a ‘Dance Mom.’ She loves to unwind by spending time in nature and reading graphic novels. She is inspired by the people in her life who show a strong sense of ethics and care for others.

Q&A

What do you do to take care of your own mental health?
I need stories, books, movies, tv shows. Fiction helps me understand myself and have self compassion and empathy. Movement is also essential for me. I love dancing, yoga and getting outside.
On a hot summer's day, what kind of bevy are you reaching for?
Same as winter, still coffee. Sipping coffee on a camping trip in the summer is pretty great.
What song do you have on repeat right now?
I have to admit, my daughter has taken over my Spotify and a 5-track K-pop playlist is playing on repeat in my home, in my car, and in my head.
